Blog from a very lucky Headteacher
28 April 2017 · Head Teacher's blog
I must have absolutely the best job in the world. There I was, sitting and quietly reflecting on my week, thinking about what I might consider a highlight to discuss in my blog. I could have mentioned the really fun assemblies week, with students - as usual - throwing themselves into the interactive bit; I might have talked about the amazing feedback we had from some staff training; or the fun we had with Mars Pet Care and their campaign to make Melton Mowbray the most pet friendly town in the uk. As I was thinking, there was a knock at my door. It was one of my lovely Year 7 students. He wanted to know, as I was a 'lovely Headteacher' (his words, not mine), if I would like one of the white chocolate rock cakes he had made that morning. 'Yes. I would like that very much.' I replied. It is sitting on my desk right now, wafting sweetness around my office. Happy weekend, everybody, from a very very lucky Head teacher.
