CEO blog update - a thank you for a wonderful visit

22 June 2018 · Head Teacher's blog

Thank you so much for accommodating me today. I had a fantastic time and I would be most grateful if you could thank your wonderful team of staff and students for making me feel so welcome.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to all of the classrooms. It was lovely to see the playgroup team in the morning and I also particularly enjoyed my time with Year R, admiring their superb lighthouses – they looked so great when we turned the lights off and the children and their teacher made me feel so welcome. I thought they were very sensible in making the decision to turn the lights off to save batteries but I was pleased that one of your pupils thought about this and decided to leave hers on anyway. (I hope the spare one arrives tomorrow!!)

I was very impressed with Year 1 and 2’s resilience with their teahcer, learning all about time – there was some fantastic team work in there.

I also enjoyed seeing some of the older children working so hard in their timed timetables test and Year 3 and 4 beginning work on Fathers’ day cards so enthusiastically.

Please pass on my thanks to the pupils, who took time out of their lunch to show me round their field.

All in all, I felt extremely grateful to you and all your teams of staff and children in making your school so fabulous.

Please please pass on this message!

Many thanks

Chris
