Children In Need day

17 November 2017 · Head Teacher's blog

So, it's Children In Need day today, and all across the trust there are - as you might expect - some very many and varied fundraising events taking place. Many children are donating money to come to school in non uniform, alongside that there are lip syncs battles, cake sales, sponge throwing and Karaoke. Brilliant. Our children fundraise vigorously and I couldn't be more proud. It seems that they have a superb sense of perspective and always focus on the big stuff. They seem to be able to sift the day to day and understand that there are many bigger issues in the world that often enable them to think of and support others rather than themselves. They could teach us a lot!
