Sport Relief - Friday 23rd March

Friday 23rd March 2018

John Ferneley College will be holding a non-uniform day, with a sporting theme, on Friday 23rd March in support of both Sport Relief and the John Ferneley ‘MIND’ Appeal. Don’t forget to wear your lanyards!

Staff and students will be organising various different events which will be taking place during break and lunchtime.

We are asking staff and students to make a contribution of £1.00 to raise funds, which will be collected by form tutors and split between the two charities.

Although we encourage students to take part in the non-uniform day can I please ask that their clothing be appropriate for college – nothing too risqué and please do not have their hair dyed especially for the day!

Please note that on Wednesday 21st March we are supporting the ‘Lots of Socks’ event to raise awareness on World Downs Syndrome Day. We will have buckets available if you would like to donate with funds going to support people with Downs Syndrome. Just wear some brightly coloured socks – or even odd socks for the day!!

I know that you will want to help us support what are all very worthwhile causes.
