Years 7, 8 and 9
You will receive 3 tracking reports for your son/daughter over the course of the academic year. The report shows:
Assessment Grade
This is the level of attainment your child is currently working at.
Each subject identifies knowledge and skills that should be acquired by the end of the academic year. A student that achieves this knowledge and skills would be considered “secure”. A student that doesn’t acquire all the knowledge and skills required by the end of the year would be considered “emerging or developing." A student achieving more than the required knowledge and skills by the end of the academic year would be “exceeding or mastering”.
Commitment Score
This is the commitment a student shows to their learning. This relates to in lesson and homework.
Years 10 and 11
You will receive 3 tracking reports for your son/daughter over the course of the academic year. The report shows:
Target Levels
The grades we are aiming for are generated based on your child’s Key Stage 2 data.
Predicted GCSE Grade
This is the grade your child's teacher thinks they will achieve for your final GCSE if they carry on with the same commitment, attendance, and attitude to learning.
Commitment Score
This is the commitment a student shows to their learning. This relates to during lessons and homework.
Performance Data
Progress 8
- We are not able to calculate Progress 8 scores for academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26. This is because there is no KS2 assessment data available to calculate the baseline for Progress 8 for these years due to Covid-19 disruption. Our most recent P8 score was -0.47.
- Our attainment 8 score as of summer '25 was 43.8.
- The percentage of pupils achieving a grade 5 or above in English & Maths is 36.4%.
- The percentage of pupils staying in education, or entering apprenticeships or employment is 93% which is slightly above the national average.
- The percentage of pupils entering the English Baccalaureate (EBacc - A pupil is considered to have entered for the English Baccalaureate if they entered for qualifications in English, maths, sciences, a language and either history or geography) is 27.6%
- The average EBacc point score is 3.74
